Terms of Use
These terms describe the basic rules for using KwikRide.
Platform role
KwikRide is a technology platform connecting vehicle owners and users seeking self-drive rentals. KwikRide does not own listed vehicles and does not currently collect rental payments in the app.
Account and document accuracy
Users and owners must provide accurate information and genuine documents. Accounts or listings may be restricted or removed for fraud, impersonation, fake documents, unsafe conduct or misuse.
Owner responsibilities
- List only vehicles the owner is legally permitted to offer.
- Provide accurate registration, condition, availability, pricing and pickup information.
- Keep the vehicle roadworthy and comply with applicable insurance, permit and legal requirements.
- Verify the user, documents, rental conditions and vehicle handover directly.
User responsibilities
- Hold a valid licence and meet legal eligibility requirements.
- Follow traffic, parking, helmet, seatbelt and road-safety rules.
- Use the vehicle only as agreed with the owner.
- Inspect the vehicle and record its condition at pickup and return.
Bookings and contact sharing
A booking request does not guarantee approval. Multiple users may submit pending requests for the same vehicle and date, and the owner may choose one request. Only one request can ultimately be approved or confirmed for that vehicle and date.
After a successful booking request, the user may receive the owner's phone number. Exact pickup address and coordinates are shown only after owner approval or confirmation.
Offline payments
Rental charges, deposits, refunds, penalties and settlements are handled directly between the owner and user outside KwikRide. Both parties should record and agree to payment and refund terms before handover.
Risk and disputes
Owners and users are responsible for agreeing to handover, return, fuel, damage, accident, theft, challan, insurance, cancellation and dispute terms. KwikRide may assist with platform records and support but is not a party to the offline rental payment or vehicle handover agreement.
Privacy and deletion
Use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Account deletion is available in the app and through our public deletion page.
